Landscape Operations Manager Job in Northern Kentucky
Earl’s Lawn Service is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our growing lawn care, landscaping, and hardscaping operations in Northern Kentucky. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with several years of supervisory experience in commercial or residential landscaping who can lead crews, coordinate equipment and schedules, monitor production, control costs, and help keep daily field operations running efficiently.

What You’ll Do
The Operations Manager serves as a key link between ownership and our field teams, helping ensure crews, equipment, materials, schedules, customer expectations, and production goals stay aligned each day.
- Lead daily production planning and assign crews, trucks, equipment, routes, and job responsibilities.
- Supervise lawn care, landscaping, and hardscaping crews while monitoring progress, productivity, safety, and quality.
- Visit jobsites for quality inspections and help resolve customer, crew, scheduling, or production issues.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, maintenance needs, material deliveries, and other resources needed by field crews.
- Review labor hours, production goals, schedules, budgets, and operational costs to help jobs stay efficient and profitable.
- Review completed work, prepare upcoming schedules, and meet with ownership to review operational and financial performance.
What We’re Looking For
This is an experienced leadership position. We’re looking for someone who understands landscaping operations from the field to the office and can confidently lead people, equipment, schedules, and production.
- Several years of supervisory or management experience in commercial or residential landscaping or lawn care.
- Strong leadership, team-building, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with scheduling, crew coordination, route planning, production management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment, including mini excavators, mini skid steers, and skid steers.
- Practical mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs or maintenance for landscaping equipment.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work with scheduling, estimating, budgeting, customer management, and other business software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A CDL is a plus, but is not required.
